San Francisco Community Woodshop is a volunteer-run co-op shop. Our membership has a range of woodworking experience, from 0-40+ years. Among us are engineers, doctors, designers, artists, accountants, lawyers, and cabinetmakers. Many of our core members began woodworking at this shop years ago under the instruction of furnituremaker John Sheridan.
Now that John has retired, our goal is to continue his tradition of teaching and to establish a community where people can learn and practice woodworking.
